Definitions
1.1 Surfer/User is: a person or group of people, including a corporation, who use the Internet, whether via a computer, via cellular communication, or via any other media, existing or future.
1.2 “Site Management” means the Eating Disorders Association, including the organization’s managers and employees, or anyone acting on its behalf.
1.3 User Content, any content that a user has uploaded and/or will upload to the Site (including in any of the services offered on the Site), including words, images, video, audio (voice) content, software, a combination of video and audio-voice content, or any other content that can be uploaded to the Site.
General
2.1 These Terms and Conditions are written in the masculine gender, but refer to both genders equally. Everything stated in these Terms and Conditions in the masculine gender also refers to the feminine gender and vice versa, and everything stated in the singular gender also refers to the plural gender and vice versa.
2.2 No provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to derogate from another provision in these Terms and Conditions. The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only.
2.3 Browsing the Site or entering it or using the services offered on it, expresses and constitutes your agreement to the terms of these Terms and Conditions, and they will apply to any action you have taken or will take on the Site. If you do not agree to the terms of use, in whole or in part, you are requested not to make any use of the site.
2.4 The Eating Disorders Association reserves the right to update and/or delete the provisions of these regulations from time to time, at its sole discretion and without the need to provide any prior notice, and these new terms will be binding on the user from the moment they are published on the site.
2.5 The provisions of these regulations will apply to any service or advertising on the site for which no specific provision has been established.
2.6 To the extent that there is a conflict between the provisions of these regulations and provisions relating to advertising of any kind on the site, the provisions of these regulations will prevail, and they will be binding on the user in their relationship with the Eating Disorders Association.
2.7 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 2.6, the Eating Disorders Association may establish certain provisions in publications or other services on the site, expressly stating that this provision overrides the provisions of these Terms of Use.
2.8 Every user is invited to use the site, as long as he accepts the terms of these Terms of Use. However, the Eating Disorders Association may prevent/restrict the participation of any user (by all means at its disposal) in some or all of the services, for a limited or unlimited period, in accordance with its sole discretion and for any reason it deems appropriate. The Eating Disorders Association may do so as it deems appropriate, and in its sole discretion and for any reason it deems justifiable and reasonable, without providing any explanation or justification for the decision as aforesaid.
2.9 A user whose participation has been prevented/restricted as aforesaid will not be permitted to participate again under a different username during the restriction period.
Use of the Site is permitted for personal purposes only. It is prohibited to use the Site for illegal, misleading, offensive or harmful activities. The Company may prevent access from users who have violated the Terms of Use.
The Site may include links and integrated content from third parties (such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram). Use of this content is subject to the policies and terms of use of those third parties only. The Company is not responsible for the content or activity on these external sites.
The Association is not responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the Site or reliance on the information therein. The Site is provided “as is” and the Company does not warrant full availability or complete immunity from unauthorized intrusions.
The Company reserves the right to change and update the Terms of Use from time to time. Updates will be posted on the Site and will take effect upon their posting. Continued use of the Site after the posting of the update constitutes renewed agreement to the Terms.
The rights of the Almog Maimon Group
3.1 All rights, including intellectual property rights in the site and services, belong to the Eating Disorders Association, or to third parties who have granted the organization permission to use them within the framework of the site and services as aforesaid.
3.2 Without derogating from the foregoing, the Eating Disorders Association is the exclusive owner of the site’s databases, the site’s names and trademarks, the site’s patents and designs, whether registered or unregistered, the trade secrets involved in operating the site and providing the services, the site’s design, the technological information involved in operating it, including software, applications, graphic and other files, computer codes, texts and/or any other material or information contained therein – with the exception of user content as defined in these Terms and Conditions.
3.3 As a result of your use of the website, the Eating Disorders Association may send you information relating to the organization’s activities through a variety of channels. If you do not wish to receive such information, you may notify the Eating Disorders Association of this in a manner specified together with the information sent.
Information on the website
4.1 The Eating Disorders Association has sole discretion to decide on the variety of content that will appear on the website, where it will be placed, as well as on the design and duration of time it will be displayed on the website.
4.2 You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, create derivative works, publicly display, make available to the public or provide the information and/or any part thereof to a third party. You may not modify, publish, broadcast, transfer, sell, distribute or make any commercial use of the information or any part thereof.
